Interview
A counselor at my school wanted to refer people that she thought would be good for the job and I said that I would be interested. Mainly behavioral questions focused on my experience and then some questions testing my math knowledge with brain teasers
Interview Questions
The most unexpected was the math questions. They asked me to guess how many people would fit in an auditorium and gave me the dimensions of the auditorium itself. I gave an estimate of how many and what kind of equation I would set up. I answered with a guess and asked questions that I thought would be pertinent. They said that it was fine that I didn't know how to solve it but wanted to see how I would react. They then explained that I should have used sigma notation I order to more quickly get to an approximation.

Interview
The hiring process was really simple. First round was a phone screening by the most senior person in the division I was to intern for. I was then invited the following week to interview in person with the other woman I would be working with. Everything was very relaxed and everyone was very nice.
Interview Questions
Why Loomis? I was interested in Loomis because I wanted to learn about the Asset Management Industry. They are a fixed-income MF shop that had a huge focus on research.
Why Sales? For me this was simple to pitch because I am real estate agent. Just be yourself and be honest.

Interview
I was contacted by the company asking me if I'd be interested in a position. I said maybe, and I had to meet them. They ran me through the interview process, but I assume it was a bit light as they contacted me. A lot of basic Qs about finance, debt/equity/derivative markets, but nothing too tough.
Interview Questions
How would the price of implied volatility to impact your investment decision? Would you consider it differently if the whole market was moving one way or another?
