Low Carbon was founded in 2011, and since then we have been making a real impact on our mission to create renewable power capacity for the world, at scale. We do this through building, developing and managing solar, wind and waste to energy projects. We have new renewables projects in development right now across the UK, Ireland, North America and mainland Europe and we continue to grow rapidly.

We have built a financially sound company with a sustainable and profitable business model. Our platform is underwritten by purpose, quality and integrity and generates measurable results on a daily basis. We have the ability to achieve this thanks to the way our diverse teams work together.

Investment. Our specialist investment professionals are able to harness Low Carbon’s balance sheet capital to develop renewable energy projects at scale from concept through to construction. This team also provides attractive investment opportunities in renewable energy infrastructure across the UK and Europe for large-scale investors.

Operational Asset Management. Having attracted investors, and delivered these projects, this team is then able to provide reliable, measurable asset management services to both Low Carbon and third parties. We already manage a portfolio of operating renewable energy assets, optimising performance throughout the year.

The Low Carbon investment model enables the deployment of capital into renewable infrastructure. We have built a platform of purpose, quality, and integrity that generates measurable results. We have a target to create 20GW of new renewable energy capacity – enough to power the equivalent of 7.8 million homes.
