Interview
Initial phone interview with associate. You have to explain what markets you're passionate about, as well as describing your interested in emerging markets and having a thesis on which markets might have a positive outlook in the future. Typical walk-me-through-your-resume for phone interview. For the in-person interview, it's much more informal, just a lunch interview where you discuss why you want to work in Venture Capital, what you did during your past internship experiences, etc. The partner Martin is very friendly and there is no technical component (yet). In the future, as the firm grows, I'm pretty sure the interviews will become much more technical.
