Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The interview started when I applied online through my university career portal, but I believe the posting is on public portals as well such as ZipRecruiter and RapidInterviews. I firstly got an interview asking me to accept their preferred time slot, whereby the interview was one-on-one basis with one of their analysts. The interview also asked generic questions like why do you like investment banking, and technical questions such as tell me the difference between Comps and DCF. After passing the interview, I received an email within a week asking me to do a three-hour case study. This has to include valuations and key investment considerations, and I have to send the whole presentation back to them in three hours. I was hired for the internship afterward when the Partner reached out to me personally to ask how I am.
