Interview
First interview was with an analyst who asked mostly fit questions. Afterwards was given a modeling exam.
Interview Questions
Hardest part would be the modeling exams. They give very little time for the modeling exam that needs to made from scratch. After the modeling exam, the interviewer was very thorough in questioning many of the assumptions.

Other technical questions regarding wacc were asked that may be difficult if one was unprepared. There are a few case study questions as well that require quick mental math.

All in all, the interview process is heavily technical and requires a deep background in finance for success.

Interview
An associate at the IB firm was an alumni from our college so he posted an internship opening in our group.
Interview Questions
The interview started just as any other typical interview, more on the basic stuff since you're an undergrad applying for internship they don't expect must experience from you. Run them through your extracurriculars that are related or helpful to the job. This was the okay part.

The difficult part is when they asked me the technical questions like what was the weighted average cost of capital (WACC), Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), and a run through of DCF analysis. I was caught off guard as I did not expect them to ask technical questions from an intern, this was a time when I barely knew anything about IB.
