Interview
I applied for the position online (I think through LinkedIn) and later received a call from the director of communications. We spoke briefly over the phone at that time, and then scheduled another 30-minute phone interview for later in the week. It was around late November/early December, so I think the process went a little more slowly than it normally would have due to the holidays. After my second phone interview, I was invited to come into the office for an in-person interview. I spoke with four different people: the talent acquisition specialist, a senior HR representative, the head of communications and the director of communications. After the interview, I was given an official offer, which I accepted, and I started at the firm in late January.
Interview Questions
The head of communications asked me a few standard questions, such as my goals for the future and where I planned to take my career as it progresses. He also asked me a few questions about how I would go about managing the company's rebranding efforts, how to manage a hedge fund's reputation online/in the media, what I thought about marketing for hedge funds, etc. Everything was highly specific to the firm itself or the job I would be doing. They also asked a few questions to judge my thinking abilities, such as "How would you determine the exact number of blue-eyed people living in New York City?" The toughest question for me to answer was about how I would manage a client like this if I were the owner of my own marketing firm.

The interview process consisted of a phone screen and then a super day in the office with about 4 of the team.
Interview Questions
The most difficult question was some technical questions regarding python, as the position required some computer coding. Be prepared to answer specific and detailed questions about your experience, and they will expect you to have thought retrospectively about your experience, why it makes you appealing for the position and overall, why you are the best candidate for the position. In python, I would review the packages you used, the ways you implemented these packages, and in what ways they are applicable.

Interview
Had my resume given to HR by someone at the firm. I had a superday with the firm at their office in Evanston a week later.
Interview Questions
Overall, the interviews were very easy. They didnt even feel like interviews until the last one of the day. Everyone was very nice and each interview was essentially a conversation.

One of the interviewers saw I had some past finance experience and started asking some basic technicals:

What is a DCF?
What's the discount rate used and how do you calculate it?
How do rising interest rates affect your DCF valuation of a company?

The interviews were very fit-based with minimal technical and behavioral questions.

Interview
Quick process. I received an email inviting me to schedule a phone interview the day after I submitted my resume. Phone interview lasted about 45 mins. Mostly behavioral questions, then I had a chance to ask them about their company. They called me back in about a week to schedule the second round interview.
Interview Questions
What did you do in your last internship?
Why did you choose your university?
What would you do if you had a conflict with team member?
What classes did you take and how do they relate to out firm?
What contribution did you make to your last internship company?

Interview
I applied through college career website and got contacted by the recruiter in less than a week. Immediately scheduled a 1-1 phone interview date and now I'm waiting for the next stages of interview process.
Interview Questions
Very unexpected behavioral and fit questions. Obviously it was just to screen out your character and interest in the firm and industry. Questions were something on the line of: "Why our company" "Why this role" "How would you handle difficult/stressful situations in professional environment" "Tell me more about your general interests" etc.

Interview
Both rounds fit oriented, some financial knowledge -investments and the such. Very focused on teamwork, being relaxed and someone they would like to work with. Also stress smaller firm, unique, more responsibility, niche clients etc... Analyst position I think is more toward being a wm position -looking over portfolios, working with the client on allocations, risk analysis etc...
Interview Questions
The most difficult question:
What is your favorite Excel shortcut key?

Didn't come up with an answer

And how do your value a bond?
What is your dream?

Just say something smart... I answered really bad on this question...

Another question is what is your most stressful situation?
