Interview
Applied online through Handshake Portal with my university.

Next day was invited to come in for one on one interview with a partner of the firm. Very chill, he basically gave me an overview of the firm and asked me questions about why I wanted to work there, more behavioral stuff.

If you just think about this stuff the night before, you will be fine. Dress nice and present well, that kind of stuff matters.
Interview Questions
There were not any difficult questions like I said. Hardest thing he asked was “What do you know about what we do here at MVP?”

He seemed more interested in describing the company to me, almost as if I already had the position. I think if they invite you in to interview you have to mess up pretty badly to not get the offer. That or you show up without pants.

Equity research interns could be asked something different, particularly related to any completed or previous investment theses that one may have been involved with.
