Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The interview process was fairly simple. The first round was a case interview, this was a screener for essentially 70% of the candidates. Case study was just a business breakdown of a company (they provide all the information you need) and a quick financial analysis of how the company is doing based on ratios, comps, etc. (again, they give you all the relevant financials and industry ratios). Next was a super day, where you have a 30 minute behavioural interview with each of the 5 industry groups. The groups are 1) industrial, consumer, defence, and tech 2) natural resources 3) infrastructure 4) sovereign and sub-sovereign debt team 5) financial institutions group. The interview questions were mostly about prior experience and things like weakness/strength as well as situational questions (a time when you made a mistake), some of the groups asked me about how I would specifically think about lending to the industries that they cover (this was really the most technical part of the interview). Think about how you would perhaps lend to a university or any other such public institution, or maybe how you would think about lending to financial institutions such as REITS, PE funds, banks, etc. They extended offers 2 days after the super day.
Interview Questions
How would you conduct due diligence while lending to a University?

Interview
First -round consisted of case study directly pulled from a Western case. 1 hour to solve the case and submit online through email. Case was basic with questions asking 0.5 page quantitative analysis and 2-3 page qualitative analysis of the case. 3 basic questions covering the entire case. I applied online and received the first-round within a month of applying, very straight-forward case but be prepared by solving prior case studies. Process was simple with a MD introducing the firm & industries covering all operations.
Interview Questions
The most difficult part was solving the case (which consisted of qualitative and excel analysis) in under an hour. Be prepared to understand the case quickly and quickly input in financials for quantitative analysis. Overall questions were simple but biggest challenge is time-constraints and difficulties quickly comprehending the entire case.

I had received the interview as a prize from winning a hackathon. The interview was 45 minutes long with 2 data scientists, with a 20 minute coding section consisting of a Leetcode question, and the rest of the time was for theory questions on various machine learning concepts. There were about 7-8 machine learning questions increasing in difficulty, while the coding question was relatively easy.
Interview Questions
There were some specific questions on machine learning techniques and how it would be applied in a real world problem, which I was unfamiliar with since I was a beginner in data science and machine learning.

Phone Interview
1 on 1 Interview
Interview
Interview process consisted of both phone interview and a one on one interview.
Upon passing the phone interview, you proceed to 1 on 1.
Interview Questions
The interview was fairly basic. The phone interview was mainly to sift out applicants who had not read about the job description and were not that familiar with the role they were applying for.
The second 1 on 1 interview was more specific. They asked about exam progress and gave a few simple probability problems. They also asked about programming skills and about where you see your self in 5 or 10 years from now.
It was a pretty general process with no specific difficult or unexpected questions as such.

Phone Interview
Interview
Applied online, received an email from HR looking to book an interview a week later. Phone interview was all behavioural and heavily stressed leadership skills.
Interview Questions
The most difficult part was how much they stressed leadership skills. After providing two solid examples of leadership the interviewer continued to ask for more. The goal was probably to see if I would end up making up a story,

There were also questions about VBA but they very basic questions to test if you were lying on the resume or not (could probably get what you need to know with a few videos on youtube). This series could probably teach you everything you need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78GvLEAZecs.
