Three reportable operating segments: North America E&P (Eagle Ford, STACK/SCOOP, Wyoming, Bakken, Permian), International E&P (Africa, North Sea, Iraq/Kurdistan), and Oil Sands Mining (Alberta). In 2011, Marathon Oil spun off its refining and downstream divisions into Marathon Petroleum.
