Interview
I was referred to the company by an employee of my school. The interview process consisted of one 45 min phone interview with 2 people concerning the standard behavioral and fit questions as well as the "Walk me through your resume" question. We discussed a bit about the markets and the backgrounds of the interviewers. The second round consisted of an in-person interview at the office with 3 other people. The interview lasted around an hour and consisted of more behavioral questions and fit questions. It was more of a conversation then an interview. I got to know the different members of the team and learned a bit more about their day to day work.
Interview Questions
How many ping pong balls fit in a 747?

I answered, "I would cut of the wings because they are full of fuel. I would then calculate the area of a ping pong ball, estimate dimensions of the plane, assume the plane was a cylindrical prism, calculate the area of the prism, and then divide by the calculated area of the ping pong ball. This would give me a rough approximation"
Where does your motivation to be involved in this many activities come from?

I discussed the unsurpassed opportunities that arise in undergrad and how I didn't want to miss out on anything that could be a potential learning experience that would further my career prospects.
