"investment banking" intern

Where to start with this one... so back in Spring 2011 I was cold e-mailing/calling for internships and came across Meyers Associates. I had a phone interview with the CEO where he asked me about myself and what I was looking for. He then asked me to come to the office to interview in person the following week. After maybe a 30-45 minute "interview" that just consisted of me talking a little more about myself and him telling me about the firm, he asked when I could start.

After working out a start date the next week, I received an e-mail from an "analyst" there saying they had to push it back another week because they were doing some kind of construction/remodeling work in the office. That was the last I heard from them after that - no returned e-mails or calls. Based on other reviews here I'm thinking I dodged a bullet, thankfully. Also, look around on google for the litigation against this firm if you want a laugh.
