Interview process was pretty straightforward - initial screen w/ HR manager followed by superday in person. Really only tested interest in municipals given its more of a niche sector than your standard banking/S&T interview.

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter a week later. I walked the recruiter through my resume and explained how my skills are relevant. The HR rep was particularly interested in computer skills.
Interview Questions
The stock pitch was the most difficult. I wasn't expecting the follow up questions to be so in depth. Even though the analyst I interviewed with didn't cover the industry that my long pitch was in, he seemed to be able to grille my thesis and catalyst points pretty hard.

Some accounting and valuation questions that weren't too difficult. Had to explain why I chose to use multiples on my long pitch and not a DCF. Some general questions as to why I want to work there and why I want to cover the sector.

I was contacted by HR to set up an in-person or skype interview. This was the only round of interviews that MFS held for summer internships.
Interview Questions
There were really no unexpected questions asked, pretty straightforward behavioral/resume questions. The first was "tell me about yourself", and then I went on to talk about how I had heard about MFS before I had a few of my questions answered on the position itself. From talking with other interns in other groups and discussing our interviews once we were accepted, I think most groups that hired interns are just trying to gauge interest in the firm, passion for investing, a willingness to embrace MFS' culture, and a drive to learn.

I had about a 30 minute interview with an analyst-level employee and a senior level. The analyst led the interview, and asked mostly behavioral questions as well as resume-related ones. He asked me to pitch a stock, but I did not do very well. Otherwise, questions were very basic, I believe they also asked me how oil prices were currently impacting the economy.
