Full-time Associate

I got the interview through referral from an Alumnus at bulge-bracked. I did not have any summer internship during my MBA. So, was running headless to get an interview.
So, the first one was a fit interview with the VP. Which went well, the usual fit questions on why IB, why you, why Moelis and where else have you applied.
Second interview was with the Associate on quant. He also did a 5-10 min fit and then went into a M&A case-study. It was all back of the envelope calculations. Nothing too serious. Both the interviews were on the phone and besides my best preparation I still came off a bit nervous.
Anyway, long story short, I followed up with the VP and heard that they managed to convince all their summer interns to stay full-time. So, they did not have any vacancies left.
