Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Started with several (3-4) 1on1 interviews with HR scheduled until superday with VPs/EDs/MDs.
Started off fairly technical with talking through different ways to finance LBOs and types of businesses sponsors would prefer over others. Later stages were mostly behavioral/fit-based. Have a good story on why you're leaving and it's okay to mention compensation as one of the motivating factors. EBs pay more. They know that and it's part of the reason that they stay.
