Summer Associate Intern

Moelis came to campus for an corporate presentation. There were no subsequent on campus events. However during our Wall Street Trek they did have a company event and we were expected to schedule an in-office informational with bankers. I also had 2-3 phone calls with Moelis jr. bankers throughout the process as well to indicate interest. The first round was mostly technical and was on campus. I was then brought to a regional office the next day for a final round interview. The interview began with a 30 minute case study on a recent transaction. I was then asked technical and qualitative questions about the transaction. There was a subsequent fit interview. A lot of emphasis was placed on hypothetical situations that can happen in the workplace and how would I handle them (e.g. difficult analyst).
