I initially applied online for the position in FP&A. A couple of weeks later I received an email to ask for availability for a phone screen. I completed the phone screen and was send another email for an in-person interview. The in-person interview was 2 rounds with HR and members of the financial team.

Interview Questions

I was asked what the company does and to walk through my resume with HR. In the technical interview, I was asked more about a position on my resume and was asked to name the VLOOKUP arguments as well as different excel functions I know and use. The most unexpected question I was asked was a brain teaser at the end of the interview. It goes, "what is the circumference of the earth?". Another question I was asked was a basic accounting problem related to cash flows. They wanted to know if I knew how an increase in inventory would affect the cash flow statement.
