Generalist Analyst

Slow Process but you meet most of the team (all seemed like good guys).

Round 1 - 2 on 1 with midlevel guys who are involved in the process. Typical deal stuff, some distressed technical questions (from diff btwn bond and loan to some more complicated stuff on seniority, intercreditor agreements)

Round 2 - 3 or 4 two on 1s where you meet all the partners. Range from everything from personal background, deal experience to the random - view on commodities, the fed, etc.

Round 3 / 4 - Financial Modeling test (simple lbo model type stuff) and Case Study - case study gives you a distressed credit, where the capital structure is trading and asks you to build a cap table, an overview of the business, what debt you would buy at what prices. Present to a large group at the fund.
