Interview
I was connected with someone through an online network in Fall 2016. I then applied for that summer, but they recommended applying the next summer. I followed their advice and go the position.
Interview Questions
They asked a lot about my history with consulting, but since I did not have any there was not much that I could offer. I had to draw on previous work experiences and educational experiences that were similar to consulting. It just required me to to think in advance and plan ahead for the interview so that I could have the stories set to go. I practiced a lot with friends and advisors to make sure my storytelling abilities were up to par with what they expected. They also do not usually hire interns, so I had to convince them to hire me.
