Interview
They posted on LinkedIn. Went through the application and submitted without knowing anyone there. 1st interview was general interest. Second interview was about market sizing hospitals and potential patients
Interview Questions
The first interview really was about motivation about applying for job, and just standard resume questions, like walking through each job and describing what you did at each. I think they really cared about GPA for some reason. Wasn't expecting that question.

The second interview was really about market sizing a particular drug, and determining how many physicians would prescribe. Nothing difficult, but overall pretty standard. Then they asked questions about how you would go about pricing the drug.

Presentation
Interview
The first step was a phone interview. After that, I was invited case to present at the office. I was given a week to prepare for the case.
Interview Questions
The case was about the energy/utility industry. it consisted of 5/6 question including: describe the industry, financial and operational impacts, market sizing, forecasting market size and final suggestion to the client. I had to prepare a 15-minute presentation answering the above, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Finally, it lasted almost 1 hour as Q&A mixed with the presentation.
The most difficult question was about the effects that a project with rate-based revenue has on the balance sheet of a regulated utility company.

Interview Questions
I was not expecting an Excel test on my skills. I thought this part was unfair because Excel is a teachable skill. There was a time limit and mine got cut off, which I felt was not fair - as I got stressed and overwhelmed when my time was cut in half. None of the other questions were particularly difficult; they were fair. I think that when given a schedule of how the day is going to go - that shouldn't be a part that is left in the dark per the explanation. It far surpassed my limited experience with Excel - not taught in school.

Interview Questions
In general, it was a standard interview experience of a consultant position, which is mainly composed of case interviews and behavioral questions. Since the role I was applying for is for a specific sector so some industry-specific questions were asked during the interviews as well. The most unexpected composite of the interview is the 30-minute presenatation of a given topic which really took lots of time before the interview to collect information, put together presentation and practicee. But nothing else., In general, it was a standard interview experience of a consultant position, which is mainly composed of case interviews and behavioral questions. Phone Interview
Interview
A recruiter contacted me about 2 weeks after I applied on their website. Then set me for a phone interview about 1 week later with a director and an associate. The whole phone interview lasted about 40 minutes, about 90% technical questions and 10% fit questions. The interviewers were nice and friendly.
Interview Questions
I was asked to walk them through my resume and they were really interested in internships and school projects related to quantitative research. They asked about how I used SQL, RStudio, SAS and Python in my past modeling experience. When I was talking about a project I did in school where I used LIBOR to price plain vanilla swap rates, one of the interviewer suddenly threw out the question "LIBOR is good but how do you think about OIS? Have you had experience of OIS?", which I've never heard of before then.

Group Interview
Background Check
Interview
First was on campus interview with one of the associate directors, 30 min behavioral. In less than two days was notified of final round at office, which was 2 hours all behavioral, both in group and one on one, half an hour each with MD, Director, and Consultants
Interview Questions
How would you explain a regression to a layman?

Why are you interested in this firm?

What software tools do you know how to use?

What classes are you taking? How do you like them?

Most of the questions were not especially challenging, and the hardest part was that as a behavioral interview, the interviewee was expected to drive the conversation and ask questions regarding the firm, the specific practice, their experiences so far at the firm, and interesting cases that they have been working on.
