Interview
My resume was submitted to the new york angels through the InSITE group. They called me in for a 2 on one interview after screening my resume. They mostly asked about past experiences i have had in business related ventures, and then asked if i had any experience with valuations and term sheets.
Interview Questions
The most difficult part of the interview was when they started to ask in a little more detail about the investment process and if I had any experience in that area. I have never worked in finance, so I was unfamiliar with a lot of the language that they used. After all was said and done though, they liked my experience and said that I could learn everything else I needed to learn on the job itself, as it is pretty basic math. It was also unexpected that they asked a lot about my extracurriculars, but that lead to some pretty fun conversations.
