Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I was contacted over the phone by the recruiting coordinator of the Dayton office. She explained how an employee referred me to her and how she wanted to schedule a phone interview. Several weeks later the phone interview was conducted. The interview lasted one hour. It mainly consisted of fit questions (name a risk you have taken, what has been the most challenging part of your life, what are your career goals). She also asked a lot about my background and how I got to where I am today. The end of the interview consisted of me asking her the questions. Immediately after the interview she told me that I should come into the office for a second round interview. This interview took place one month later and was basically an employee pitching the company to me. The office is trying to expand and gain talented recruits which is the reason for them showing the company's credentials. During the interview I was given a market survey where I was supposed to call family and friends to ask them about the financial service industry. This was done to see how wide of a network I had. After finishing the market survey over the next two weeks I was called in for a second time to wrap up the details and to decide if the internship is right for me.
