Interview
After sending out the application, I got an appointment for a telephone interview the week afterwards. Here the question were mostly personal fit questions like "why investment banking" etc. At the end of the interview an actual interview in their office was offered. Nplusone proved to be flexible here as they accepted my request of postponing the interview to to my exams. The interview itself consisted of 3 different 2 on 1 interviews mainly with Associates and one 1 one 1 interview with a Vice Precident. In each interview personal fit questions and technical questions were asked. Furthermore the interview contained a 2 hour case study in which knowledge about the financial statements was tested. Another task was to create a company profile. The whole interview lasted 3.5 hours. Future applicants should definetely study the financial statements as those are the main focus in the technical part. The atmosphere throughout the whole interview was professional but relaxed and everybody seemed to honestly enjoy working there.
