Interview
The first-round interview was behavioral, focusing on my background, experiences, and why I was interested in the role. The interviewer was attentive and created a conversational atmosphere rather than a rigid Q&A session.
The final round included a mix of technical and case-based questions relevant to the role. The interviewers were engaging, making sure I understood the questions and even offering clarification when needed. They seemed genuinely interested in my thought process rather than just the final answer.

Interview
Applied online, went through several rounds of screening including an online test with several video questions. Did not hear back for about a month as they put their process on hold for a bit. Reached out to me for a phone call with someone on their talent team, and then scheduled 1-on-1 interview with 3 different team members. It was supposed to be in-person but I unfortunately had to take it virtually. They were very accommodating. The interviews were direct, to-the-point, and included some grilling but nothing out of the ordinary. Did not have to do a model test but they asked a lot about modeling experience. Ended up getting an offer the following week! I think they were expediting the process beyond what's typical since they were behind schedule on hiring. Was fairly straightforward overall.
Interview Questions
Questions were generally expected and standard, particularly went in depth on my background and experience. For example, what were the value drivers or cost drivers in this particular deal? Or tell me about a time when you experienced ___ while working on a deal and what was the solution? Or what specific role did you play in this deal?

Interview
A recruiter reached out to me since I had a relevant background in real estate. Started with a phone screen to gauge interest and to talk through my resume. After the screen has a one on one with the group lead to go over the role in more detail. The next and final round was a series of one on one interviews with various senior members of the group to go over their responsibility and how I would fit into the overall team. There were a couple of brain teaser like questions. For the most part, the questions were around fit with maybe one or two technical questions. Definitely got a more laid back vibe from them than I had others.
