Interview
A recruiter reached out to me since I had a relevant background in real estate. Started with a phone screen to gauge interest and to talk through my resume. After the screen has a one on one with the group lead to go over the role in more detail. The next and final round was a series of one on one interviews with various senior members of the group to go over their responsibility and how I would fit into the overall team. There were a couple of brain teaser like questions. For the most part, the questions were around fit with maybe one or two technical questions. Definitely got a more laid back vibe from them than I had others.

Interview
Very long and drawn out hiring process. Applied online and about 1.5 months later I heard back and scheduled a phone screen with HR. 3 weeks later they are still screening and collecting resumes.
Interview Questions
Not difficult questions from the human resources screener, just have to be up-to-date about the industry. The hr recruiter asked about my interest in the company, industry and the team. Seemed to be a lot of check the box questions about where do you see yourself in five years, what do you know about our org structure? Questions about the current investing environment in the active or passive space. Why do you want to move to the Midwest. What do you know about M&A, valuation, and strategy/consulting?
