Interview
After submitting my application, I heard back from the recruiter saying that the Summer positions were full, but was asked if I wanted to be considered for the Fall. I accepted. I realized that I needed to have the interviews done earlier than a certain deadline (to change my enrollment pattern), and the interviewer was able to arrange a phone call for the very next day. I appreciate that a lot. During the interview, it became clear that there were some skills that others possessed more fully than me, and the interviewer indicated that they would not proceed with my application.
Interview Questions
The two questions I was asked that I did not expect were as follows.

1) What are your favorite data visualization sites or blogs?

2) What are your favorite three excel functions?

I'm not sure if these are usually questions that are asked during the initial phone interview with OTR Global. My experience may have been different as I had asked for the process to be "sped up" since I would need to make a decision about whether to change my fall enrollment pattern prior to when the interviewer had planned to hold the initial interview.

Interview
Very straightforward, just speaking with the HR and one of the current associates at the firm. Asked straightforward questions.
Interview Questions
Nothing unexpected at all as the process and questions were very straightforward. If you know your resume well and is well-prepared for the role with somewhat of a finance background, you should be able to list evidence or think of things that is applicable to the questions. Much of it comes down to if you had prepared and know your story and why you want to do this job or internship, thus I personally thought the questions were fair and straightforward bc I had prepared for them beforehand and knew my own story very well.

Tell me about yourself?
The interview process for OTR Global is not difficult, especially if you have a connection to the company. There were no technical questions and they were all behavioral. The interviewer was very friendly and did not try to trip me up over anything. I just need 25 more characters. Perfect.
