Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First round phone interview - Pretty standard questions such as why asset management, why PIMCO, etc. Then it got into questions about the economy as well as technicals (duration, convexity).
Received invite for the superday next morning. It was 5 interviews. Each one mostly focused on intense questioning on the world economy. Ranged from topics such as the Euro crisis, the fed, discussed emerging markets as well. Most questions leaned towards fixed income for obvious reasons. You definitely need to be prepared and very up to date with all current events both financial and political in nature.
