Investment Banking Analyst

I was contacted via an online application I had submitted and initially had a 30 min phone interview with one of their analysts. This was followed up by another phone interview later on in the week with a VP.

After the second phone interview I was invited to interview on-site and had all my flight arrangements taken care of by one of the company's assistants.

I flew to the offices on a Friday and took a cab from the airport (which was later reimbursed) and was told I would be interviewing with the whole group's team from 2-5PM in 30 minute slots (six people total). Two of the bankers were away from the office so these were conducted over the phone but the other four in-person. The interviews were all conducted one-on-one in one of the firm's side rooms.

Generally speaking, I was asked about my prior work experience, my interests in technology and why I wanted to work for a smaller boutique firm. I don't recall being asked any challenging technical questions.
