Interview
At first, I cold-emailed many investment management companies and private equity in my area including Palm Beach Capital, a middle-market private equity firm. They replied back and after a little back and forth emailing I secured a interview. Once there they gave me a skills test in finance and mathematics and then proceeded to interview me. The interview was mostly behavioral with a few basic technical questions such as DCF and LBO questions
Interview Questions
Some of the DCF and LBO questions were pretty in depth and difficult for me since I hadn't really prepared for the interview in advance. The behavioral questions were standard such as "Walk me through your resume".
