Interview Questions
I was asked about sports financial news, so be prepared to talk about what is going on within this specific industry. They really care about fit at this firm since its a boutique and not that many people. So in my experience, you can talk about what teams are being acquired or sold off in pieces, or what related financial news is going on in the NBA/NFL, etc. Nothing too difficult, but also be sure to talk about the financial metrics in each of these deals that you expand upon as that'll show further interest in this particular firm.

Interview
For Park Lane, there were two components to the interview process. The first component, or round one of interviews, was a brief phone interview with one of the senior bankers, which lasted about 30-45 minutes. The questions primarily consisted of fit, culture, why investment banking, etc. The second component, or round two of interviews, was a conference call. This time, there were two workers: one senior banker and one junior banker. They both asked me fit questions, as well as culture, current events, etc. Overall, it was a very positive interview, and the vibe that I got from the two interviews was what helped me choose this firm at the end.
Interview Questions
"Can you please tell me about the biggest recent deals regarding sports business?" I replied that the Milwaukee Bucks were recently bought by two people for over 400 million dollars. This also led to a discussion about what sports I liked to follow as well.
