Used past investment pitches that I have done to illustrate my knowledge of public equity valuation.
PM asked me questions about my pitches as I went along just to clarify things, but spent the majority of the time over the phone just explaining my investment thesis. If you know the basics of equity research such as PE ratios, EV/EBITDA multiples, how the three financial statements relate to each other, you should be fine. They don't expect you to fully understand accounting or to have even taken an accounting class, but if you know the basics, you should be good.
