Interview Experience (21%)

The Interview Experience is a score from 1 star (very negative) to 5 stars (very positive) generated based on the Interview Insights at this company.

The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

The company is GSA capital, not sure WSO won't recognise it.
Found email on the website and wrote cold . Got a response from a recruiter pretty quickly.
First round was 1 week take-home: machine learning exercise to predict return based on a couple of features.
Difficult and noisy problem, I guess they are looking for something creative here rather than standard techniques.
Then several interviews. The approach is non-stantard, every interviewer asks what he wants.
There was some discussion in regard of expected values/variances, a simple coding problem, some brainteasers.
Mostly though it was an open-ended discussion around a trading problem.
Then got a call with a portfolio manager. Again an open-ended discussion.
Waited for a couple of months for a decision, was not selected.
