Interview
I have heard so many great things about this company but was astonished at how god awful their hiring practice was. I applied for the internship coming from a target NESCAC (LAC) college, after speaking with the head of their conv. arb. desk. I went in for my interview over spring break which consisted of meeting 1-1 with a lady in hr. This lady flat out told me that she wanted someone with a finance major and questioned what my liberal arts major (Math and Econ) could bring to their group vs. a finance major. Regardless of this I still crushed the interview and did a great job of answering all of her questions. I continued emailing her and calling her back after my interview because it was late in the process and she continued to essentially ignore my calls. Finally she was nice enough to send me a email with we found some one for next year. Please apply back in the future.... Found out that my buddy from Amherst with nearly a 4.0 their in econ couldn't even get an interview with them and that they hired University of MN Carlson Finance maj. for all 3 of their spots.

My recommendation is to not apply their unless you go to a state school in the midwest region or have a great in. HR is absolutely clueless and has their sites set on schools in MN.
