Applied online. HR reached out to me by email to schedule a panel interview that was supposed to be with 3 people but ended up online being two. Process was sloppy. Interviewers kept asking me the same question in different forms over and over again and it got irritating. It felt like they were trying to dig for something that wasn't there beyond my actual interest. I did plenty of research about the firm and spoke to other employees but they couldn't grasp that someone not with a traditional finance background wanted to branch over. Also, one of the scheduled panelist didn't show up. I asked HR about this and got ghosted. Process felt rushed and completely disorganized. Asked about status and still gave a follow up thank you letter then got a random rejection email 2 months later. Was completely discouraged by the interview.
