Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Point72 begins looking at candidates freshman year at our school. I did an informational interview and a stock pitch competition to get their attention. Sophomore spring, I applied to the position online. I had to submit an IQ test as well as responses to several questions they asked regarding how businesses were run. I was invited to the summit (which was virtual). After participating in the summit, I kept in touch with recruiters. Then, I was invited to participate in a superday (over the phone). The superday consisted of 2 twenty minute phone calls. One was with a coach, the other was with a high up PM. The questions weren't technical in nature. I was asked about how I thought about businesses in a few sectors, and how those businesses made money. I was also asked personality questions and things off my resume.
