Summer Associate

- Started with a typical application, then heard back after ~1 week.
- After 1wk, received a questionnaire that asked behavioral questions (such as why HF, dream job excluding finance, etc). All short responses, maybe 200 words each.
- 1wk later, received a case study where I had to analyze a company. No model. Just analyze company and give initial recommendation long or short, and why. Identify key drivers, how the biz makes money, revenues / cost structure, biz quality, etc
- Soon after, I had an HR round. Standard behavioral interview. Basic questions regarding fit / personality / why I wanted to work there / my previous experiences
- Final round with academy coach where we went over the case, he asked questions about it / pressed deeper into my views in the case, then we moved onto me pitching a stock or 2. I recommend having 1 long and 1 short prepped in addition to the case.
- So 2 interviews, ~3-4 week long process
