The whole process consists of two or three rounds, depending on the candidate, I suppose. Round 1 was 2 x 50 mins on top of eachother.
Interview Questions
First 50 mins started off with a quick macro overview, while relating this to the operations of a PE-fund. This was with two analysts and rest of interview was just grinding on technicals, i.e. accounting, valuation and general corp finance topics, including knowledge of an optimal LBO candidate. They managed to squeeze in a market estimation as well. Second 50 mins was with a senior associate talking about general behavioural and motivational questions as well as in general attitude towards PE.

In general, I believe it was a very comfortable but also very challenging interview.

Hardest question was probably; "Let’s say Apple is buying $100 worth of new iPod factories with debt. How are all 3 statements affected at the start of Year 0 and in year 1?"
