Interview
They did not have any post for an internship position in public. I cold emailed the entire firm to see if there's an opportunity. A week later, I got a phone call from them saying that they'd love to have an interview with me. On the phone, the interview is described as a three-hour long process that includes modeling test. However, during the day, it was basically fit questions and information about their firm. And we ran out of time for a modeling test.

So, in the following weeks, they sent me some materials and asked me to build an LBO. I guess that served as a modeling test. Got an offer from them two weeks later.
Interview Questions
There wasn't anything too difficult (technical) during the person-to-person interview. The Principal asked about how I think about the restaurant/retail industry because of previous internship experience on my resume. I guess he wanted to see if I can think like an investor or just simply curious about the space. Overall, the interview process went smooth and not many unexpected questions.

They asked if I can model well, which in my opinion is hard to answer because as a college student, you can't really say you are really good at modeling because they are many more professionals who are better at it.
