Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The interview consisted of 4 interviews. 1st interview was behavioral-based questions with HR. 2nd interview was with the head department I would be joining. This consisted of behavioral-based questions, scenario-based questions "if I give you 'x' projects and another superior comes up to ask for help, how would handle the situation", technical-based questions based around REITs and industrial properties, and then lastly why apply for the position and try to work for this company. The 3rd interview waswith analysts from the team I would joining. Not too many questions, it was more of a feeler for them to see how I was and if they would enjoy working with me and I would enjoy working with them. 4th interview was a wrap with HR, and to give me case study. The case study consisted of given property they have gone through the process of acquiring and it was my job in the case study to underwrite the property. Give my pros and cons, complete a DCF model, and find the property value based on a hurdle rate they require. In all from 1st interview to hearing back after my case study took roughly 5 weeks.
