Summer Analyst

Came to campus, held first round interviews in-person (after selecting ~10 people from an initial resume drop of about 50) with alumni at the firm. I had 4 phone interviews over the following 2 weeks with 2 associates, a VP, and then the COO of the firm. After the phone screens, I had a super day that consisted of 7 interviews of ~30 minutes each (lunch was provided in between). 2 of the super day interviews were specifically designated as technical, and consisted of on-paper merger models. Non-technical interviews had some personality-type questions, the rest were mostly focused on the tech industry, companies and tech trends I thought were interesting (and what I knew about them), etc.

Phone screens were all very technical, with a strong emphasis on accretion/dilution. Non-technical phone questions were almost entirely probing my interest in and knowledge of the tech industry.
