Summer Associate Intern

First round Zoom Interview and then Superday was more Zooms. Each interview had two people from my school interviewing me, usually one senior who was chill and one junior who asked all the technicals. Technicals were things from the guides i.e. M&A, LBO, Accounting, Walk through valuation methods, etc. Mainly got GRILLED on internship/investment club experience (past pitches) so if you have some notable experience on your resume, make sure you study the specifics in case they grill you! I would describe the interview experience as average but I've also been studying for a year so maybe it was hard? I imagine everyone else is in a similar position though so average is prob fair. Really cool interviewers though they talked to me about skydiving and stuff and when I got the offer every MD including the Global Heads of a couple groups as well as almost every junior called me several times to provide more insight into the firm. Overall, solid opp. I'd rec taking it over UBS/DB if you think you can get a top 5 group which seemed very very doable from the convos I had. Good luck!
