First round interview was with a recruiter from QVC. Process was informal and checked skillset as it related to the job for which I was interviewing. Moved on to second round which was five interviews in a row, one with the hiring manager and four others with various other group heads of different but related groups. Interviews were generally informal-- was asked about my background, why I was interested in the company and etc. Everyone was very amicable and nice. I was not advanced to the next round, they found a better fit for the position.
Interview Questions
I was asked a variety of technical questions from the hiring manager including explaining methods for valuing companies, how would I go about preparing forecasts and internal financial statements for companies that are reported on different reporting programs. The job description was vaguely written so it was slightly difficult trying to explain exact details of the job that I found most interesting when I was confused with what the job entailed, although it did seem relevant to my experience.
