Investment banking Summer Analyst 2024 - Diversified Industrials Group

I had a networking call with someone that went to my university, and they told me to apply using their name as an employee referral. I'm sure they probably internally referred me as well. I heard back in a few weeks for a first-round interview on Zoom. The interview was primarily behavioral, with two analysts, one first-year and one second-year. Super informal, mainly just testing personality and fit. Towards the end, a couple of the interview questions about my previous experience at a boutique IB firm which got a little more technical on what I did/ how I went about tasks. A week later was flown out for a super day I would say maybe 4-6 interviews, usually with two people, sometimes one, and all levels from analyst to ending with the MD. Questions varied a mix of behavioral and technical. I received a call that night that I had got the offer.
