I applied via LinkedIn and received an invite to Hire Vue within a week. Was asked very basic questions in the Hire Vue interview process (what is EBITDA, why this firm, etc.). I was then invited to meet with an associate and MD in NYC. In the in-person interview I was asked common interview questions and about my transaction experience (already had two years of M&A experience). A week later I was given a case-study. The case study consisted of reviewing a CIM and building a detailed valuation (Comps, DCF, and LBO) and an Investment memo (as if we were presenting it to a PE fund).
