Summer Analyst

I spoke to an associate who I had reached out to on LinkedIn on the phone. A year later I called asking if the firm was hiring. He asked me to send my resume, at which point I received an email that I would have an interview. I first met with a VP who guaged my general fit at the firm and in the industry, as this was my first IB position. Next round I met with the analyst I would be working under who guaged my general aptitude in finance. Neither interview was particularly formal or 'difficult.' I was asked four technical questions.
