Investment Banking Analyst

I applied online then reached out to a corporate recruiter whose contact information I received from a colleague. The interview process started with a 10-15 minute HR phone screen which consisted of basic questions (Experience, why Baird, why leave current job). About a week after the initial phone screen I was asked to complete a basic case study which consisted of a LBO/DCF model and a teaser for a potential sell-side engagement. After completion of the case study I had a second phone interview with an associate on the team. This interview was a little linger 30-40 minutes and drilled down further on my resume, college GPA/involvement, and deal experience. Finally I was brought in for a super day which consisted of 6 20-30 minute interviews with various members of the team (Associates, MDs, and head of the group). Only one of the interviews was strictly technical.
