I cold emailed a managing director on the tech and services team in Chicago because we had similar athletic and hometown backgrounds, he originally referred me to the head of recruitment who claimed they were full in July.

I kept pinging the head of recruitment every two weeks or so to see if anything had opened up and eventually received a random email from an associate on the consumers team in Chicago.
