Interview

I had worked with one of the portfolio managers in a hedge fund in Spain, two years before. He founded the new fund with a former GS/Eton Park partner in mid-2013. As I graduated, we started talking occasionally and one year later he asked me to do a formal process there. As I lived abroad, most of interviewing with partners and others was done through phone or Skype, but had one-on-one with the main partner. Very nice and competent people there, contrarian strategies, thoroughly recommended. Tough hours as the fund is still creating a track record, but a bit more relaxed than a high pressure environment. Office is in Mayfair, London, close to Picadilly Circus.
