Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Started recruiting at the firm the summer before, so around August 2020. Made some meaningful connections and through getting referrals got well connected. Applied in January and heard interviews would be around March/April time. Attended some workshops for non-core schools hosted by the firm. Connected with a Partner and MD through the workshop. Got a competing offer, let Rothschild know and they accelerated the interview process for me. Had a 1-on-1 with an Associate. Intermediate IB Technicals, tricky behavioral questions but overall went well. The following day had an interview with an MD and a few hours later got the offer.
