Investment Banking Summer Associate

Rothschild did a virtual presentation and we were given the opportunity to reach out for coffee chats. I coffee chatted with 3-4 bankers and then had a chance to have an additional coffee chat with a MD. After a few weeks, they selected a group of 10-15 students for a invite-only sessions and the Rothschild team came to campus to meet us face-to-face. I made a good impression and connected well with the bankers. In late November, they invited me to interview

Round 1 Interview was a technical screen where they asked me accounting questions (100 PPE w/ 50 cash, 50 debt how it flows through the 3 Financial statements), basic merger math questions (accretion/dilution), basic paper LBO, valuation questions, DCFs.

Superday was with two MDs and pretty much all behaviorals.
