Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process started with an employee referral internally. I knew the hiring manager and reached out to him after seeing a posting live for a week or so.

It started with a screen - of about 30 mins of why banking, Why Rothschild, Why Tech and my own background. Pretty cut and dry.

Next up was a phone call with another Director, which was again to assess the same questions, but primarily to get another Director to greenlight a second round given I was a referral.

Second Round was a video call with another Director in which it was straight technical questions for 30 mins. Describe a typical M&A process, what's in a purchase agreement, what's NRR/GRR, do a revenue build, etc.

Next was a take home case study for a past deal they had done. I had about a week to produce a model and do a transaction analysis along with a short presentation.

Then I did a superday in which i met with Two VP's, then Two Directors, Then One MD, then another MD, and then a group case study presentation. The superday was a mix of technicals, behaviourals, and the case study was a walkthrough of all my assumptions and how i thought about the deal and what I would say to the client given what I had done in my analysis.

All in all, since it was summer, it did take about 4 months to step through the whole process.
