What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied through university posting and after passing the initial screening I was invited to a 1 on 1 interview in NYC with an MD.
During the interview, I think he was upset at the quality of answers by previous applicants and he asked some tough questions, not the typical "walk me through a DCF" questions. He was cordial as he knew a MD I worked with previously at Jefferies.
He told me at the end of the interview that I was on the fence and that I may still have a shot at a 2nd round but after a week he emailed me and said I was passed over.
